business implications of pending and existing Privacy Information Acts for
the Long-Term Care Health industry in Canada. Created IT Policies and
Procedures covering Security, Anti-Virus, Storage and Backup, and, Internet
and Email usage, in compliance with Federal and Provincial Information Acts.
Enterprise Content Management: Evaluated,
selected and managed the implementation of a Web-Based Document Management
System and initiated policies and procedures for content management.
Corporate Email Standardization: Project Managed
the Standardization of Corporate Email systems for 1800 users and 200+ locations
across Canada and the US.
Centralized IT Helpdesk Department:
Created the Business Case for a centralized IT Helpdesk
department. Hired staff and implemented Remedy's Magic Service
Desk web-based application. Developed and issued IT Helpdesk
related Policies and Procedures.
